Ingredients

For cooking

  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2-3 tbsps vanilla custard powder
  • 6-8 strawberries
  • ¼ cup water
  • 13 measures Sugar Free Green powder
  • 3-4 tbsps dried rose petals
  • 14 ready made tart shells
  • Unsweetened whipped cream
  • Blanched pistachios

Cooking tips

  • Cool down the custard: While cooling down the custard, keep mixing it at intervals to prevent forming of a top layer.
  • Serve fresh: Top up the tart shells, right at the time of serving to avoid making them soggy.

Step-by-Step instructions for how to make Sugar Free Custard Tart

1. Prepare the custard
  1. 1. Take ¾ cup milk and mix custard powder in it. Ensure that it has no lumps.
  2. 2. Now, transfer the mix to a pan on low flame. Let it cook.
  3. 3. Once the custard starts looking glossy, add to it 9 measures of Sugar free Green powder to add sweetness.
  4. 4. Let it cook more and thicken.
  5. 5. Now, transfer custard to a bowl, and keep it in the fridge let it cool down
2. Prepare strawberry jam
  1. 1. Take chopped strawberries and add them to a pan.
  2. 2. Add water to strawberries and let them cook.
  3. 3. Once strawberries are cooked, add dried rose petals to it.
  4. 4. Now add 4 measures of Sugar Free Green powder to the strawberries.
  5. 5. Mix it well and let it cool down.
3. Prepare the tart
  1. 1. Take a piping bag and add the nozzel of your choice to it.
  2. 2. Spread out the ready made tart shells.
  3. 3. Fill up the tart with strawberry and rose sauce.
  4. 4.Take out the cold custard and add unsweetened whipped cream to it. Mix it well.
  5. 5. Now, transfer the custard to the piping bag.
  6. 6. Use the piping bag to top the tart shells.
  7. 7. Garnish it with blanched pistachio.
