About Vegan Sama Kheer
  • Vegan Sama Kheer is a modern take on the traditional Indian kheer, tailored for those who follow a plant-based diet or want a lighter, healthier alternative. Sama or barnyard millet is a gluten-free grain that is easy to digest, making this kheer suitable even during fasting days in Indian culture, such as Navratri. Rich in protein and fiber, millet pairs beautifully with the creamy texture of almond milk, making this kheer satisfying and filling.
  • The infusion of saffron and cardamom enhances the aroma, while nutmeg adds a subtle warmth, making each spoonful a fragrant delight. Chironji and nuts add crunch, making it a more indulgent experience. And the best part? This kheer contains no added sugar. Instead, it’s sweetened with Sugar Free Green, a zero-calorie natural sweetener derived from Stevia leaves. This addition means you can enjoy this delicious treat while maintaining a low-calorie intake—perfect for anyone watching their sugar levels or managing their diet.
